On Thursday, April 4, 2024, Japanese high school students visited the headquarters. The visiting students belong to Ritsumeikan High School and are scheduled to experience various programs at KAIST-affiliated science gifted high schools and related institutions for five days as part of the international exchange platform for science and science.

Students who arrived at the Open Lab participated in a tour related to the history of KIOST and domestic and international organization/international cooperation in the lobby on the first floor, starting with a special lecture on marine natural products by Dr. Lee Yeon-joo of the Marine Biotechnology&Bioresource Research Department. After that, a brief explanation of the Ocean Satellite Center were held in the operation building of the Ocean Satellite Center.
